Adoption: October 16, 2025
This Risk Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Terms of Use and governs participation in the LaunchPad incubation program, operated by Creddinv Technologies Private Limited (“Company”).
This Policy outlines the key risks, financial responsibilities, and conduct expected from startup founders (“Users” or “You” or “Your”) using the Platform.
Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed in the Terms of Use of the Platform.
1. PURPOSE
The objective of this Policy is to ensure that every founder or startup participating in the LaunchPad program understands and acknowledges the monetary, operational, and strategic risks associated with incubation, mentorship, and potential fundraising activities.
While LaunchPad provides support through guidance, visibility, and access to investors, the ultimate success or failure of a startup remains the founder’s responsibility.
2. NO GUARANTEE OF FUNDING OR RETURNS
LaunchPad facilitates exposure, mentorship, and connections to potential investors but does not guarantee any funding, investment commitment, or financial return. Participation in LaunchPad does not promise/guarantee that:
Your startup will raise capital,
Investors will show interest, or
Any business outcome (valuation growth, profitability, etc.) will be achieved.
All funding outcomes depend on multiple factors, including market conditions, business performance, investor preferences, and execution capability.3. MONETARY COMMITMENTS AND FEES
Participation in LaunchPad may involve program fees or specific service charges depending on the nature of engagement. These may include, but are not limited to:
Incubation or onboarding fees,
Pitch preparation, documentation, or due diligence support,
Marketing, networking, or investor outreach services, and
Access to third-party expert sessions, mentorships, or legal consultations.
Any outsourced or specialized advisory services (legal, financial, strategic, compliance, IP, etc.) shall incur separate fees, payable directly to the advisor or service partner. LaunchPad and Creddinv do not bear or reimburse such costs under any circumstance.
All monetary terms, if applicable, will be disclosed prior to engagement and must be agreed upon before availing the services.4. USE OF FUNDS AND FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE
Startups receiving incubation support or potential investment leads through LaunchPad are expected to:
Maintain transparent financial records,
Use any raised funds only for declared business purposes, and
Comply with applicable legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
Creddinv reserves the right to discontinue association or withdraw support if a startup is found misrepresenting information, or violating any financial or ethical standards.5. RISK OF FAILURE
Startup incubation inherently involves high risk and uncertainty. Founders must understand that:
A significant number of early-stage startups do not succeed commercially,
Business models may need pivoting or restructuring, and
External market or regulatory changes may impact outcomes.
You should be financially prepared for the possibility that your startup may not achieve expected results, revenue growth, or investment traction despite incubation support.6. PERFORMANCE AND ADVISORY LIMITATIONS
LaunchPad provides access to mentors, advisors, and investor networks. However:
Advisors and mentors operate independently, and their opinions, guidance, or strategies do not represent official financial or business advice from Creddinv.
Creddinv does not warrant the accuracy, success, or effectiveness of any advice, strategy, or plan implemented based on such consultations.
You are encouraged to exercise independent judgment before acting on any recommendations or insights shared.
All engagements with external advisors are at your sole discretion and risk.7. TAXATION AND COMPLIANCE
You are responsible for complying with all applicable tax, regulatory, and corporate laws. Creddinv does not provide tax advice or compliance guarantees and shall not be held liable for any penalties or liabilities arising from non-compliance.
8. PLATFORM AND INFORMATION DISCLAIMERS
1.
Information, materials, or projections shared on the LaunchPad platform are for educational and facilitative purposes only.
2.
Creddinv does not act as a broker, investment advisor, or funding agent for startups or investors.
3.
The LaunchPad platform and its services are provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of completeness, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
4.
Creddinv shall not be held responsible for technical failures, delays, or communication breakdowns during the incubation process or investor introductions.
9. REGULATORY POSITION
LaunchPad (by Creddinv) is not a SEBI-registered crowdfunding or investment platform. It operates solely as a private incubation and facilitation network under Creddinv, helping startups connect with mentors and potential investors within a curated ecosystem. No material or communication from LaunchPad should be construed as an offer or solicitation of securities to the public.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in LaunchPad, You agree that:
Creddinv and LaunchPad shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or opportunity cost arising from Your use of the Platform or reliance on its services.
You will indemnify and hold harmless Creddinv, its officers, and partners against any claims resulting from Your participation, disclosures, or engagements. 11. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By registering or participating in the LaunchPad program, You confirm that:
You have read and understood this Policy,
